Merry Christmas!

Since my last post not a whole lot has been going on.  I am now almost 13 weeks pregnant!  It's exciting to know that I am almost done with my first trimester!!!  We had our second official appointment and it went really well!  Nothing really super exciting at the appointment though.  We asked a few questions about my odd symptoms, received a fit to travel note and we heard the heartbeat again.  The baby's heartbeat was at 160ish beats per minute and strong.  I have decided that 4 weeks is a really long time to go in between appointments, but the doctor said that now my miscarriage rate is the lowest it will be and will stay that way throughout the pregnancy so that is a huge relief.    I might be able to feel the baby move in the next 3 weeks and I can't wait.  Our next appointment is January 20th and then 4 weeks after that we will be able to find out the sex of the baby and have another ultrasound.

We drive to Denver tomorrow so that we can fly out early on the 26th for our cruise.  We are so excited to go when we have been waiting for this trip for a year and a half!  When we get back I'll post some pictures and let you know how everything went.

There is so much more to come with Everyday with Matt & Shebli!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

Lots of Exciting News!

So, it's almost been 2 months since we last did this and a lot has been going on.  I suppose the biggest thing that has happened with us is that we are going to have a baby.  As of yesterday I am 10 weeks pregnant.  The baby's due date is July 3, 2009!  We are so excited and can't wait!  We have had two ultrasounds and have heard the heartbeat two times.  It was amazing!

Matt did interview with Progressive Insurance in November and he did get the job.  Yay!  So in May we will be moving to Colorado Springs for Matt's new job.  It is a very exciting and intense time for us!

Thanksgiving went very well!  At least I think it did.  Dinner was yummy and the company was great as well.

Finally, Christmas is well on it's way and that means our cruise is as well!  We are so excited!  I just cannot wait!  We have shore excursions booked and our tickets have arrived.  We are counting down the days until our vacation starts!

Watch for pregnancy pictures and cruise pictures, I'll have them up soon!  There is much, much more to come in the next months with the Everyday with Matt & Shebli!

It's Been Awhile

So October has arrived and is we are well on our way to November.  So heres the latest with us.

On September 28th, We lost a very dear friend.  Cody Sisco was in a fatal car accident in Cheyenne.  Cody was Matt's best friend in high school.  It really makes you ask the question why?  We attended Cody's funeral in Sheridan on October 2nd and it was very fitting, heavy metal and all.  RIP Cody Sisco, we will miss you.

From that very sad news we have had a very exciting month so far.  Matt has interviewed for a job with Progressive Insurance as a programmer in Colorado Spring and goes for a more in depth interview in November.  He has interviewed with Computers Unlimited in Billings and will be heading to Mountain View, Wyoming for an interview with Union Wireless on October 27th.  It's very exciting to know that we will be starting a new chapter in our lives very soon.  We can't wait to know where we'll be in May.

We are also hosting Thanksgiving here!  Yeah I have to say I am a little nervous.  My parents will be here, Matt parents, aunt and grandma will also be here.  That's a total of 8 people.  To say the least I am a little stressed.  But I know it will work out.  So the challenges we face start with not having enough dishes and even bigger our table and chairs are not finished.  That means we don't have a table to serve Thanksgiving dinner on.  So wish me luck!  So that is about it for now...or at least it's all I can think of  right now.

A little over 2 months until the cruise!!!! Wahoo!!! Well I'll try to keep you up to date with the Everyday with Matt & Shebli.

October here we come!

I can't believe that September is almost over!  This past month has gone by so fast and I am so glad it has.  That means one month closer to the cruise and one month closer to Matt being a College Grad!  YEAH!!!
So October might turn out to be a pretty busy month.  On Wednesday Matt has his first career fair.  He'll meet with a ton of companies and give out his resume.  Hopefully that will get him on the right track so that when May comes around he'll have a job waiting for him.  It's crazy to think that he will be starting his career in just 8 short months.  It's really exciting, but really scary not to know where we will be going once May comes around.  Next week my mom is also coming to town.  I am picking her up in Cheyenne on Thursday and I am taking Friday off of work so that we can have a girl's day!  I am really excited to see my mom and to have some time off from work because I need it!
I think midterms might be also be in October, so that will be stressful for Matt!  Also on the 21st Matt will turn 23.  I don't know what we are doing for his birthday yet but we'll figure something out. I'm sure we will probably go out to eat but other than that, who knows?  Well I think that's the latest with us but, we'll keep you updated on The Everyday with Matt & Shebli!

TGIF!

This week is finally over and it has been long.  Poor Matt has been working so hard between work and school.  We barely get to see each other.  He has had so much homework this week that he hasn't been to bed before 1 a.m. all week!  I don't know how he does it.  He's such a trooper!  We also found out that Matt has a few more credits to take this Spring than we expected, so instead of a slow down for his last semester it will probably be much like this semester.   We will get through it!!!
As for me, this week couldn't have gone any slower! Nothing exciting or even worth mentioning though.  All I can say is that I am ready to move on and TGIF...finally!  That's the latest with the Everyday with Matt & Shebli!

Great Weekend!

The weekend is almost over!  It went by way to fast, but it was a great !  My parents came down from Sheridan.  On Saturday we all went down to War Memorial Stadium to cheer on the Pokes.  Great seats, great weather and great company!  The Pokes took NDSU to mark up their second win of the season!  It was awesome but intense!

Sunday afternoon we booked our shore excursions for the cruise in December!!!!  Yay!  In St. Maarten we are going on a catamaran cruise and snorkel. We are also going to go down the beach on segways!  How cool is that?  In Haiti, the boys are going to do a canopy tour, one of the longest ones in the world!  Too intense for my mom and I!  So we are going to go on a wave runner tour.  After all that excitement we are going to a private beach to drink and relax.  As for our other two ports, in San Juan we are going to just hang out on the ship.  Maybe do a spa treatment, the surf simulator and/or the rock wall.  In St. Thomas we are meeting Matt's parents.  We don't know what we are doing there yet though.  This cruise has been booked for over a year now and it is time for it be here already! Not that we are excited or anything!

Well that's the latest with us!  Keep checking in and we'll keep you up to date with The Everyday with Matt & Shebli!

Back to the Daily Grind

Last week Matt started his final year in school (yay!).  His degree will be finished in May 2009 and we are so excited.  He is staying super busy with 17 hours of school and he is working full time, 32+ hours a week, as a team leader at Ace Hardware!  We are trying to get into a routine, but it is proving to be challenging right now!

This past weekend Julie and Ken, Matt parents, came down from Dayton, Wyoming to work on the house.  We spent 18+ hours sanding the floors in the dining room and living room.  We still need to do some more sanding and then stain the floors.  After all of that is done we are going to have some beautiful hardwood floors!  As soon as it's done I will post some pictures.

Keep checking in and we'll keep you updated on the Everyday with Matt & Shebli!

Just a little info on us

Matt & I have been together since July 7, 2005 and we were married July 7, 2007.   We live in Laramie, Wyoming where Matt is finishing up his BS in Management Information Systems.  He will graduate in May 2009.  I am working full time at a local credit union where I am a Member Service Representative.  After Matt is finished with his degree I will go back to school, hopefully here, to finish my degree.  Who knows where life will take us, but I do know I can't wait to find out!
