October here we come!

I can't believe that September is almost over!  This past month has gone by so fast and I am so glad it has.  That means one month closer to the cruise and one month closer to Matt being a College Grad!  YEAH!!!
So October might turn out to be a pretty busy month.  On Wednesday Matt has his first career fair.  He'll meet with a ton of companies and give out his resume.  Hopefully that will get him on the right track so that when May comes around he'll have a job waiting for him.  It's crazy to think that he will be starting his career in just 8 short months.  It's really exciting, but really scary not to know where we will be going once May comes around.  Next week my mom is also coming to town.  I am picking her up in Cheyenne on Thursday and I am taking Friday off of work so that we can have a girl's day!  I am really excited to see my mom and to have some time off from work because I need it!
I think midterms might be also be in October, so that will be stressful for Matt!  Also on the 21st Matt will turn 23.  I don't know what we are doing for his birthday yet but we'll figure something out. I'm sure we will probably go out to eat but other than that, who knows?  Well I think that's the latest with us but, we'll keep you updated on The Everyday with Matt & Shebli!

TGIF!

This week is finally over and it has been long.  Poor Matt has been working so hard between work and school.  We barely get to see each other.  He has had so much homework this week that he hasn't been to bed before 1 a.m. all week!  I don't know how he does it.  He's such a trooper!  We also found out that Matt has a few more credits to take this Spring than we expected, so instead of a slow down for his last semester it will probably be much like this semester.   We will get through it!!!
As for me, this week couldn't have gone any slower! Nothing exciting or even worth mentioning though.  All I can say is that I am ready to move on and TGIF...finally!  That's the latest with the Everyday with Matt & Shebli!

Great Weekend!

The weekend is almost over!  It went by way to fast, but it was a great !  My parents came down from Sheridan.  On Saturday we all went down to War Memorial Stadium to cheer on the Pokes.  Great seats, great weather and great company!  The Pokes took NDSU to mark up their second win of the season!  It was awesome but intense!

Sunday afternoon we booked our shore excursions for the cruise in December!!!!  Yay!  In St. Maarten we are going on a catamaran cruise and snorkel. We are also going to go down the beach on segways!  How cool is that?  In Haiti, the boys are going to do a canopy tour, one of the longest ones in the world!  Too intense for my mom and I!  So we are going to go on a wave runner tour.  After all that excitement we are going to a private beach to drink and relax.  As for our other two ports, in San Juan we are going to just hang out on the ship.  Maybe do a spa treatment, the surf simulator and/or the rock wall.  In St. Thomas we are meeting Matt's parents.  We don't know what we are doing there yet though.  This cruise has been booked for over a year now and it is time for it be here already! Not that we are excited or anything!

Well that's the latest with us!  Keep checking in and we'll keep you up to date with The Everyday with Matt & Shebli!

Back to the Daily Grind

Last week Matt started his final year in school (yay!).  His degree will be finished in May 2009 and we are so excited.  He is staying super busy with 17 hours of school and he is working full time, 32+ hours a week, as a team leader at Ace Hardware!  We are trying to get into a routine, but it is proving to be challenging right now!

This past weekend Julie and Ken, Matt parents, came down from Dayton, Wyoming to work on the house.  We spent 18+ hours sanding the floors in the dining room and living room.  We still need to do some more sanding and then stain the floors.  After all of that is done we are going to have some beautiful hardwood floors!  As soon as it's done I will post some pictures.

Keep checking in and we'll keep you updated on the Everyday with Matt & Shebli!
