Big News!

Since my last post there has been a lot going on. We have a couple of low key weekends with us just taking it easy and not doing a whole lot. My parents came down mid August for my Mom’s birthday. We all went and ate at the Melting Pot and it was amazing. We, also, met some friends of ours in Denver one night for a dinner since they are moving to Omaha. We are happy for them, but they are going to be so far a way! :( During Labor Day weekend, we had some friends come down from Cheyenne. They stayed the night, fixed us dinner and we all went to the night lighting at the annual Balloon Festival. My parents came down last weekend and while the boys brewed beer (Matt’s newest hobby) my mom, Parker and I went to an amazing farmer’s market! So, there hasn’t been a whole lot going on in that aspect, but we have been having a lot of fun in the final weeks of Summer

Parker is amazing! He is starting to run, I have no idea how to keep up with him! His vocabulary is up to about 20 words and he is starting to put small phrases together. One of his newest things is testing his limits. How much can I do before Mommy says no? It can be frustrating! He is still being super loving though. He is giving lots of kisses and hugs! They are the best! He is still teething like mad. he has recently had 2 of his first year molars come in and we finally have another tooth on the bottom! He has recently learned how to go back down stairs, so that is nice! But, it means that the climbing on everything has grown because now he can get down all my himself! He is pretty amazing! I know I’m biased though! :)

In other news, Parker will be big brother in late March! Yes, that is right we are having another baby! As of today, I am 12 weeks pregnant. We are very excited and can’t wait to welcome this new little one to our family! We have had two ultrasounds and are having a very smooth pregnancy. I have had some horrible “morning” sickness though and lost some weight. The morning sickness is starting to let up and I can eat more than just toast. I am back up to my pre pregnancy weight. We have tried to explain to Parker about the baby, but he doesn’t understand! I know, big surprise there! He is pointing and kind of saying belly button now and wants to always look at mine and every time we tell him there is a baby in there. I’m sure that as I get big he’ll start to associate beer bellies with babies! lol That will be interesting!

That is what has been going on here in the Springs!  There are a few new pictures in the Watch Parker Grow album and I started a new one for the baby bug!
