So, what's new with the Huston family?

Well, I will tell you!

We took Parker to an awesome pumpkin patch the weekend before Halloween and he had so much fun! He ran around saw the many animals on the farm, played climbed and we picked out some huge pumpkins! Parker was a dog for Halloween. He was so cute and he made dog sounds. It was so hard to get him stay still in it long enough to get a decent picture! He ran around so much that he could only wear it for a short amount of time before he got too hot. Matt and I carved pumpkins early in the week, but they didn't stand up too well with the warm weather in the day and the cool weather at night. Parker finger painted a fake pumpkin one night which was so fun and messy! On Thursday afternoon we took Parker to Progressive to go trick-or-treating. It was a lot of fun, but Parker was a bit shy. Halloween was interesting in a new neighborhood this year. We had 3 huge bags of candy. At 6 the kiddos started arriving and by 7 we were out of candy. Yes, we were that house! I thought for sure I would wake up the next morning with our pumpkins smashed and our house toilet papered. We didn't! :) But, Parker did enjoy helping me give out candy. He got so excited when the doorbell would ring. Swimming lessons have been going swimmingly! (Sorry I couldn't resist!) He has learned a lot and just enjoys the water. He is floating and reaching and can climb in and out of the pool all by himself! Bath time is a little different these days, though!

We had the big ultrasound a couple of weeks ago and well we were stunned. There are 2 babies in there! Okay just kidding, but it is another little boy! Yes, Parker is going to have a little brother! I hope they become best buds! He is perfectly healthy and measuring about 2 days ahead! We will be naming him Breckin Rhys. During the week of Thanksgiving we are going to go have an elective 3d/4d ultrasound and I’m very excited to see our 2nd little man again! Oh, and to confirm that we really are having a boy. We are, also, on the downhill slope of the pregnancy now. I’m halfway through! Yay!

That’s all for now! Maybe I’ll update again soon! :) Oh and check out our family albums! I have a ton of pictures in an October album and baby bug has pictures of his ultrasound and of my belly!

Updates!

Yes, I know it's been over a mont since my last real post! Sorry!
We haven't been up to a whole lot, but we did make it down to Laramie for a football game! It was a lot of fun even though we lost to Air Force. During that trip, we were able to see lots of friends and catch up! It was really nice. Since that weekend in September we have been spending time with each other at home! It has been very nice to have some close family time because we won't be having a whole lot of that for a while. Matt has picked up a second job as a server at a new place called Cheddar's. (His first night on the floor is tonight which is their opening night.) Last week, Matt and I suffered from salmonella poisoning. It was not a fun week! Eating undercooked pork (on accident) was not a good idea! Just so you know, I did NOT cook this food it was take out from PF Chang's. We are feeling a lot better by the way! The last part of this month has been and will be busy! Matt's parents were here this past weekend, my parents will be here this weekend and next weekend our friends from Cheyenne will be here!  Lots of fun! We love having company!

Parker Update:
Parker went into his 15 month checkup last month and he is doing fabulously! Still a tall and skinny little kid and way ahead with all of his skills! He's a little smarty pants! :) He had a vaccination, but our pediatrician didn't feel comfortable giving him his shingles vaccination because of where I was in my pregnancy so that will happen in December! I have decided that my baby is changing so fast that I can barely keep up with him! He is really looking like a toddler these days and definitely acting like one! I wouldn't have it any other way! He started going to swimming lessons 2 weeks ago. He is loving it! He has actually been submerged completely, he floats on his back, he can climb out of the pool and all sorts of stuff that I am blanking out right now! But, we all have so much fun! This week, we are going to record it so I will post a video of it!

Baby Bug Update:
I will be 17 weeks tomorrow which means I am one week closer to being half way and only one more week until the big ultrasound!!!! On the 26th of this month at 9 a.m. we have our next appointment. We will be seeing our little bug and will find out what we are having! On another note, I would really like to know who voted boy? That was not a supportive vote! :) Either way we are excited and have names picked out and everything! We will let everyone know shortly after we do!

That is it for now! Sorry it is so long! I will add a new album sometime this week!
